Laura is a French foodie; passionate about food and connoisseur of the French grande cuisine. Now settled in Sydney, she has worked in the hospitality industry for nearly 8 years and has had the chance to meet incredible chefs along the way including Paul Bocuse, Pierre Gagnaire and Luke Mangan. As a marketing manager looking after renowned restaurants, she has managed hundreds of photo shoots and has decided to take up the camera to become a food photographer.
A skilled cook, Laura has been involved in several cooking contests including the French equivalent of “Come dine with me”, with more than 2 million views in France and a professional competition at the Paul Bocuse Institute. Recently, she has also been a finalist candidate of Luke Mangan’s CEO competition in Sydney.
In addition to photography, Laura is also a food blogger and writes about the best restaurants in Sydney. Her blog The best restaurants in Sydney by Laura b. is simple and objective. “I try to make recommendations as if I were talking to a friend: go straight to the point with my crushes, highlights and main information.”
