Jah is not only a very good cook, but also a very talented photographer. She loves making photos of ingredients and dishes. I love going to the restaurant with her, because I am not the only one asking people to wait for the photo before starting to eat!
She is French, but she enjoys the Australian way of life, eats healthy food and knows many of the good restaurants in Sydney. I thought she would be a perfect foodie for food is all.
She came to my home on a Sunday morning, cooked her delicious roasted chicken stuffed with lemons and we invited our very good friend Anne to help to taste it! We spent the whole day cooking, eating and shooting! Luckily, we live in Bondi Beach and we could go for a coffee break on the beach.
Jah chose to share one of her favorite recipe: Roast chicken stuffed with lemon
She chose this recipe from the I Quit Sugar program because:
1)It’s yum – the melting butter, the crackling of the chicken skin and the generosity of the meat
2) It’s easy to prepare
3) No waste! I reuse the leftover bones for broth and soups!
Jah’s special tip to make this recipe:
Cook your lemons in boiling water for 15 minutes before inserting them in the chook.
